March 20, 2020 - San Francisco City Hall is lit up in the colors of the Italian flag to show solidarity with the country. In the foreground is a sign posted to remind people of the social distancing guidelines and projected onto the ground is an interactive piece of art called K.A.R.L. named after our famous fog, Karl. KARL stands for Kinetic Algorithm for Reactive Lighting and reacts as you walk over the lights.
