April 1, 2020 - I had been remiss so far in supporting my friend Ryan by getting some food from Newkirk's his spot on Potrero Ave. across from Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. I thought he might be innundated with hospital workers and visitors but was surprised to find out that many businesses have donated food to the hospital and at times too much so that they've had an overabundance and didn't have to go out for food. So let's keep supporting our local, independent businesses as much as we can - best way is to call your order for pickup as delivery services charge about 30% for fees.
